Resep Olahan Ayam Untuk Mie Ayam

Lebaran is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate than with some delicious chicken dishes? Here are 5 recipes to try out and impress your guests!

1. Semur Ayam

Semur Ayam

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken, cut into pieces
  • 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced thinly
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 cups water

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned on both sides.
  2. Add onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add sweet soy sauce, bay leaves, salt, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30-45 minutes, or until chicken is tender and sauce has thickened.
  5. Serve with rice and enjoy!

2. Opor Ayam

Opor Ayam

Ingredients:

  • 600g chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 2 lemongrass stalks, pounded
  • 3 kaffir lime leaves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 5 shallots, sliced thinly
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 candlenuts, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Add shallots, garlic, and candlenuts. Sauté until fragrant and golden brown.
  2. Add coriander and cumin powder and continue to sauté for another minute.
  3. Add the chicken and stir until chicken is browned on all sides.
  4. Add coconut milk, lemongrass stalks, kaffir lime leaves, bay leaves, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30-45 minutes, or until chicken is tender and sauce has thickened.
  6. Serve with rice and enjoy!

3. Ayam Taliwang

Ayam Taliwang

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces
  • 3 shallots, sliced thinly
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 red bird's eye chilies, chopped
  • 5 green bird's eye chilies, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions:

  1. Grind shallots, garlic, red bird's eye chilies, and green bird's eye chilies into a paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sauté the paste until fragrant and golden brown.
  3. Add chicken and stir until chicken is browned on all sides.
  4. Add sweet soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Stir until combined.
  5. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30-45 minutes, or until chicken is tender and sauce has thickened.
  6. Serve with rice and enjoy!

4. Ayam Betutu

Ayam Betutu

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken, cleaned and butterflied
  • 10 red shallots, sliced thinly
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 red bird's eye chilies, chopped
  • 5 green bird's eye chilies, chopped
  • 5 candlenuts, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Grind shallots, garlic, red bird's eye chilies, green bird's eye chilies, and candlenuts into a paste.
  2. In a pan, sauté the paste until fragrant and golden brown.
  3. Add tamarind paste, kaffir lime leaves, bay leaves, salt, sugar, and vegetable oil. Stir until combined.
  4. Place chicken on top of the spice mixture and spread some of the mixture on top of the chicken.
  5. Wrap the chicken in banana leaves or aluminum foil.
  6. Preheat oven to 180°C and bake the chicken for 2-3 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Serve with rice and enjoy!

5. Sate Ayam

Sate Ayam

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 10 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 1 hour

Instructions:

  1. Season chicken cubes with sweet soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Thread chicken cubes onto the bamboo skewers.
  3. Grill the skewers over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
  4. Serve with peanut sauce, rice cakes, and sliced cucumber and onion.
  5. Enjoy!
